Living room
Movie night without hunting for three remotes — dim the lights, drop the blinds, and drive the TV from one piece of glass on the coffee table.

ESPHome + LVGL firmware · Guition 7″ ESP32-P4
A hand-crafted Home Assistant touch panel for every room of the house — each one custom to the room it lives in, designed in your browser without a line of code.

Real firmware, real pixels
Nothing on this site is a mockup. Every card is rendered by the same LVGL code that runs on the panel — all 53 card types, in every size.

Room by room
You can build Aurora as the one dashboard by the front door — but it's designed to be built per room: the same panel, wearing exactly what that room needs and nothing it doesn't.
Movie night without hunting for three remotes — dim the lights, drop the blinds, and drive the TV from one piece of glass on the coffee table.

The morning glance: tonight’s forecast hour by hour, the family calendar, and one tap to put the breakfast playlist on the kitchen speakers.

Lights and fan from bed, volume down without a phone — then the panel fades to a photo slideshow and only lights up at night if you walk toward it.

The three questions at the door: is it locked, who’s home, did anything need my attention while I was out.

What's inside
Camera cards put your Home Assistant cameras on the panel — and the panel’s own camera hardware-encodes H.264 and streams back to HA, so every room with an Aurora is also a room you can look in on.
At night the onboard camera watches for approach and lights the screen before your hand gets there. No tapping dead glass, no screen burning all night.
Idle glass becomes a photo slideshow with the clock and outdoor temperature — or a full-screen Spotify now-playing with album art while music is on.
Now-playing with album art, a speaker picker for every Spotify Connect device, and a browsable playlist → track library. Tap a song, pick a room, it plays.
Full LG webOS control — D-pad, volume, apps — plus a Magic-Remote trackpad page with a genuine drag-to-move cursor and scroll wheel.
Flash over USB a single time. Every update after that is wireless — redesign a room’s panel from the couch and press Flash.

No YAML required
The web configurator runs on your own machine and builds each panel's firmware around the room you're putting it in.

Works with your home
Aurora speaks Home Assistant, so it inherits every integration you already run. Cards exist for all of these today:
Plus first-class support for Spotify (SpotifyPlus, with library browsing and a speaker picker), Sonos (grouping, sources, favorites), LG webOS TVs (including the Magic-Remote trackpad), Google & Apple calendars, RainViewer live radar, and Synology NAS status — every one of them in the card library.
Guition JC1060P470C — ESP32-P4, 7″ 1024×600 IPS, capacitive touch, onboard camera. One USB-C cable for the first flash; wireless forever after.
Aurora began as a fork of jtenniswood/espcontrol and reuses its hardware bring-up; the dashboard is an independent rewrite. PolyForm Noncommercial license.
